VESA
Definition
VESA mount standards describe the four-hole pattern and the hardware. A 55-inch set is often 300×300 or 400×400; a 77-inch OLED may be 400×400 with a tight weight budget. Pattern match is necessary but not sufficient: the mount’s rated mass, the wall’s studs, and the leverage of a full-motion arm all matter. Measure the holes; do not trust a marketplace title. If the TV is heavier than the mount, stop.
